Mark Christopher Chevrolet Buick GMC, Mountain View Chevrolet and the Leggio family are extremely active in the surrounding communities.
The two brothers, Mark and Christopher have been members of the San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation, the Inland Empire Open, the Ontario Chamber Board of Directors, and the Fairplex Board for the LA County Fair for the last several years. They also serve as the chairperson, emcee or committee member for charitable events including Upland National Little League, Damien High School Scholarship program, American Heart Association, Rancho Cucamonga and Upland Library, Ontario and Upland Police Officer Association and numerous others.
Their dealerships sponsor and donate to countless youth sports, churches, schools and charitable organizations such as Make A Wish, American Heart Association, YMCA, Casa Colina, Mercy House, and Steven's Hope. They donated $300,000 to help build a new gymnasium for Damien High School and $25,000 towards classrooms for St. Peter & St. Paul Church. In just the last five years they have donated nearly $1,000,000 to all of these organizations combined. In addition, Mark Christopher Chevrolet Buick GMC has helped to raise over $1.1 million dollars since 2003 as the title sponsor of the Mark Christopher Charity Classic, which is part of PGA's Nationwide Tour. The proceeds from this golf event benefit many charities in the Inland Empire ranging from primary beneficiary Loma Linda University Children's Hospital to various literacy programs, homeless shelters and area high school golf teams.
In 2009, Mark Christopher Auto Center gave away a brand new Chevrolet Cobalt to a high school student with perfect attendance with the "It's Cool to Stay in School" program. Students from Chaffey High School in Ontario and Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga grades 9-12 can participate in the car give-away. All the students have to do is achieve perfect attendance for the school year and their name will be entered in the grand prize drawing for the new Cobalt along with other great prizes to be given away on the lot of Mark Christopher Chevrolet Buick GMC.
